becca is up to 9pounds and 11 ounces. she is so darn cute. and she is eating about every 2 hours to barley 3 hours . she is eating a 3 1/2 ounce bottle and 2 times a day she is eating a 4 ounce bottle. and seems to do well. she is getting a blessing this sunday and we are excited. her dinner is saturday night.

i totaled our car in feb. and so we have to get a new one and we are happy about this because it was time. it had been four years since we last got a car. we found a car that we like but our credit score is 400 and has to be 600 so we have to have a co signer and that hasnt been easy to do.

ok so i know that its been a awhile. becca is now 9 pounds.. and eating a 3oz bottle instead of a two oz and we changed pedi doc. becca had a hearing test tuesday and passed that.. unfortunatly she is sick.. has a running nose and a fever taking her to see the doc later today.

also a week ago i got in a car wreck on the way home from jackson and we are all fine.. slick roads.. not fun.. have to get the car fixed thanks to the stupid claim adjustor and so ya my father in law is going to get another opionion because the adjustor wouldnt add other things that got wrecked.. trying to do it the cheap way..

thats all that is going on.. we are getting ready slowly with beccas dinner for her blessing. we had uncle mark and aunt lisa take pix of becca in her blessing dress now we just need to do the announcements.. she is a cutie . thanks for all the prayers and love..

well becca gained the weight.. she now weighs 5 pounds and 14 ounces.. she is competely healthy.. and she almost rolled over twice today at the docs.. we also got her to nurse a little .. she is doing good.. the doc said that we can still wait or we can go ahead and slowly let others come and see her.. the only thing is we dont want people who are sick or those who have been around them that have been sick.. and you will need to call first.. otherwise it will be some time next year.. and yes we will have becca blessed in freedom next year in the spring / summer time.. thank u to everyone who has prayed for us and for becca please keep it up.. its so good to have her home..
please keep her name in the temple.... i am so glad that grandma stayed home with me wednesday through friday and then stayed home to take care of becca while cory and i went to grandma hansens funeral it wasnt easy.. but it was worth it.. i am glad that after 19 years apart grandma and grandpa hansen are finally together again.. and that she isnt suffering any more..

becca had her first check up care with the ped doc in jackson yesterday and she is doing good almost peed on the doc.. he said that he is amazed at how developed she is and her reflexes are really good and that she is growing and cute.. she is up to 5 pounds and 5 ounces... and she eats every 3 hours or so sometimes she will eat earlyer than that. she knows how to poop fine and pee too. she takes a bottle very well and formula that she has to have since she is a premiee and will have to have for at least the first 6 months.. she wont nurse though.. and i have been pumping but i am really starting to get frustrated cause i cant seem to produce enough for how often she eats.. last night was really rough she would not settle down and then when she did it was like after 4am this morning from going to see the doc and the cold air and stimulation stuff.. but she has done better today.. i was able to have a short nap today but i havent felt well i c-section is bothering me and i have felt sick to my stomach i think alot of it is stress and lack of sleep and starting to be frustrated.. in the hospital they hardley let me nurse and they mostly gave her a bottle so lucky she will take a bottle and she would nurse now i can barley get her to its like 1 min if i get lucky and then she screams and wont have anything to do with nurseing and just wants a bottle... and the lacation specialist they have here i dont want to even talk to since i havent heard anything really good.. i did hear that she is a miracle worker but leaving burses on the back of the babies heads/necks and the fact that a doctor isnt impressed with her method i am not going to put any harm towards my baby...
so that is the update on becca.. we are glad to be home.. we arent going to be happy when grandma goes back to work believe it or not she is helping more than she thinks.. please keep praying for us and keep her name in the temple.. thank you.. if its not asking to much please pray that becca will start to nurse soon...

BECCA LORENE CARTER is officially home!!!! the doc says no visitors or to limit them for 2months.. if you want to see her the requirements are: you cant be sick and you cant be around those that are sick. please call ahead of time first.. thank you..

BECCA LORENE CARTER is COMING HOME!!!!! FINALLY!!! the nurse just called and said she is ready to come home and that the doctor is releaseing her.. cory and i are going up there tonight to stay since we are supposed to stay in a transition room for a night and get told kind of how to take care of her and stuff... our prayers have been answered becca will be home tomorrow... thank you thank you for your prayers and her name being in the temple... please continue to pray for her and keep her name in the temple.. we are very blessed and very grateful..
best christmas gift ever we have been waiting for...

so i talked to the nurse today and she said that last night becca was at 75% of her feeding but today so far she is at 85% of her feeding and if she kept it up they were going to take out the feeding tube tomorrow and see how she does. she also said that if she does good without it she maybe coming home by tuesday or wednesday of this week. becca is now at 5 pounds. and doing so good. we are so proud of our little miracle baby and love her so much. thank you to all who have prayed for her and put her name in the temple it means alot to us. please continue to do so. we are very blessed.
